Comparative studies on nutritional composition of captive and wild southern hake <i>Merluccius australis<i/> broodstocks

چکیده

The proximal composition, amino acids and fatty acid profile were determined in whole body of wild captive southern hake (Merluccius australis) order to evaluate the differences nutrients content due nutritional quality feed consumed during broodstock conditioning this species. Body composition did not show significant dry matter, protein or ash between both studied groups. Conversely, lipid was significantly higher fish compared fish. In addition, concentration linoleic, docosahexaenoic eicosapentaenoic acids, showed level than hake. Amino concentrations vary fish, except threonine taurine. Threonine whereas taurine results comparative study provide a better understanding effects supplemented currently used acclimate maintain captivity broodstock.
